Side by side pages in Faithlife Study Bible
I can not figure out how to make the the pages of the Faithlife Study Bible display side by side again. When I first downloaded the app, they displayed side by side with the divider in between. Now when I start the app, one page appears on the top and one on the bottom with the divider in between. Is there a way to make them go back to side by side?

Rotate your device 90 degrees.
Alabama24 - That was the first thing that I tried But unfortunately it has no effect. I sure wish I could figure out why I cannot get it change back...

Guess: You have the orientation lock turned on... which is an iOS setting, not a Logos one.
The orientation lock is off alabama24. I can switch from portrait to landscape orientation no problemo. I have sent a couple of emails off to the app developer but I haven’t received a response yet. I am sure that they receive a lot of emails and that they will get to my question when they have the time. I am hoping it is a simple fix. The program is completely useable as is on the iPad Pro BUT I just like it side by side and I look forward to finding out what the problem is...

On the regular Logos app, a padlock appears in the lower left corner when you rotate the device back and forth (at least on the iPhone version). Do you see anything like that?

Levi, thanks for the help, but ”no joy”. I don’t get a padlock at the bottom. I wonder if it is an IOS/iPad problem?

have you restarted your device? Reinstalled the app?
That is a good question alabama24. I have already reinstalled the app several times. Each time that I reinstall, it starts up in side by side mode. Unfortunately, after closing the app and restarting, it changes to the top and bottom display again. I have restarted the ipad too. I also checked the tools menu several times in the hope that there was a setting that needed to be set but no such luck. I am still looking though...

You don't mention if it's Android or iOS version.
If you are using Android, try this. Go into the Settings on your device (not Logos app settings but the OS settings) and find the apps screen. find the Bible app and do a Force Stop. Then clear out the data and cache. May have to tap on Storage depending on your version of Android.
If that doesn't help, based on all that you've tried so far, it sounds like you have a very strange problem and I'm flummoxed.
Oh and also don't forget that if the above doesn't work, try it again and this time also Uninstall from the settings too. Then reinstall and see if that helps.

On the Android version there is a little grey bubble that separates the two windows. Any chance it has slid to the very top or bottom (in portrait mode) or to the far right or left (in landscape mode)?

Thank you all for your comments on this issue. We are aware of the split screen configuration showing in this way when the FSB app is first installed and have a case open to resolve this issue. At this time there is no ETA on the fix but we will make sure when the update is released to name this fix in the release notes. Have a great day!

Carla, Thank you for the information. I appreciate your assistance. In the fix, do you think that we will be able to select the side by side version or will the one above the other be the way that it always works?

I am not sure I follow here, but the app is intended to allow for two panels. "One on top of the other" in portrait mode; one "side by side" in landscape mode.
I don't run the FSB app because I could care less about the social features. If you aren't using those, the Bible! App may be a better choice anyway.

I just downloaded the “Verbum” app and it contains the Faithlife Study Bible. The side by side feature is there so I can use it. I am travelling right now and plan to stop at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville AL before returning home. It wouldn’t hurt to talk to one of the Priests there and get their guidance on a good study bible or two. Having come to the faith VERY LATE in life, I have a lot to learn. As Saint Jerome said, “Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ”. Thanks for the assistance in this endeavor...
