How many resources can be downloaded to iOS app
I had red somewhere on the forum that the app was made only for a limited number of resources. Is there a number or is it based on disk space?
Is there a way to increase that amount?

There isn’t any physical limit - apart from disk space
But if you need to reinstall the app for any reason it will need to download them again so, generally, assuming you have decent Internet access it’s best to only download what you need

Well, I don't want everything, but I would like to have some commentary sets and some journal collections... and Bibles for comparisons.

Unstable. I think as long as one assumes 're-install', and a fast connect, using up FB's communications budget is part of their business plan. On the desktop, constantly downloading what you don't need is their fondest dream come true.
I've had the ios Accordance installed for years, with my biggest memory footprint ... mucho gigabytes. My ios Kindle's never been re-installed nor its hefty geology books. Nor Laridian. I'd bet my mini dies before they do. And I'd bet FB cuts me off, before everyone else too.

The more you have downloaded, the more opportunity for headaches... but with that said, there should be little trouble with 100 resources.

I tag all the books I want on my iPad as ‘ipad’ on the desktop. Then, if/when I have to reinstall the app (or get a new iPad) I simply type ‘mytag:ipad’ in the box at the top of the library view on the iPad and hit the download button for each of them. I got burned once, so this way I don’t have to remember them all next time around.

The more you have downloaded, the more opportunity for headaches... but with that said, there should be little trouble with 100 resources.
I know that I have a little over 10% of my Logos library downloaded 1300+ books... I have had relatively little trouble with my iPad. I know this is well past where most people feel comfortable. I just want to be able to use my key resources even if i have no connection. I suppose I could be ok with less but I am at a level I feel comfortable with what I have.

If you have the space (I have the the ipad 10.5 with 256 gb and an iphone 7+ with 128 gb). I also have fiber internet. Speed and space. I have 650 resources on the ipad. No issues. I couple of times I have had to reinstall but not much of an issue.

There is no limit that I am aware. I had an iPhone 7+ with 256GB and I had 8646 resources. Yesterday I loaded them on my new iPhone X and it took about 4 hours to load them all. My phone is powerfor enough that I have never had any issues and the app is very fast. So if you have the right phone, there is no issue.

To put it another way, you CAN download (almost) all of your books... but you shouldn't. The mobile app isn't designed for it, and mobile devices aren't best suited for it. There are a number of things that can go wrong... don't do it.
I’ve never had issue with my 8646 (number is always growing) on my iPhone. It works like a charm.

You can choose to disregard my advice, but you do so at your own peril. There will come a time when you will say, "you were right."
I am confident there will never be that time. I have had over 5000 books for about four years now and I’ve never had an issue. I’m certain as the computing power and the system memory improves, it will only get better. Anyway, I’m not disregarding your advice as much as I’m using experience. The new iPhones are more powerful than the MacBook Pro, so your prediction is less and less likely.
