Update to iPhone X Screen Resolution on Logos App?
i Know this is probably in the works but just wanted to see if anyone knew when Logos was going to release an iPhoneX in the proper screen resolution? Right now it’s still being rendered in the (to X users super small) screen size. Thanks.

Yes! i need this.
But even more, I would like a more powerful app, now that the iPhone has 6 cores and is as fast as the MacBook Pro.

I am sure it will happen sooner or later but no idea how soon, if they were smart and have been working on it it and in a very soon release as the needed info to do have been out for awhile.

I have no idea if they have or not, but my 2¢... The FL mobile team is developing for two platforms and resources (man power) is finite. New changes are coming down the pike which will impact ALL users. In my way of thinking, it doesn't make sense to focus on making cosmetic changes for a FUTURE (then) phone, which will be in limited supply for a period of time after release. Of course, if I were rich enough to be able to afford one of these, my opinion might be different. [:P]

Agree is shouldn't be a top priority but for those who have one it would be nice... I do hope by the time i have a X it's X screen compatible.

Also I am not sure if any of the apps out there are ready for the new screen size... but one can hope....

Faithlife didn’t bring full compability to Windows touch screen. I doubt they will do something fast to iPhone X as well

I think the bigger motive might be if Bob has an iPhone X.... priorities can change if the right people ask.. LOL

PS:Also will not look good if Logos apps end up being the last mobile APPs for Bible study updated.... I know FL want people willing to spend money on their packages and books but if I was starting with my phone to do the shopping and didn't have good results on the APP I likely would go elsewhere. I do know most people start computer and go from there but have heard of a few whose mobile experience is the top priority.
PPS:Windows touch screen seems laudable priority but I do remember them saying about not wanting to redo the interface... this is simply ploping in another resolution to display.

As an iPhone X owner, I would really like to see my shiny new screen real-estate used. It actually makes me not want to use the app. That being said, there are a lot of apps that haven’t updated to support the new screen size, even from high profile developers (like Google). In my opinion, it doesn’t speak well of them. But then again, I understand that resources are finite. Oh well.

I do not know which apps are and which ones are not... I do know that Accordance's mobile app is suppose to be X screen compatible in it's next release which is due out shortly, I do not yet own an X so I have no idea if Olivetree is X compatible or not.. Indeed while an X is in my future I may not see it before January which will be a nice birthday present to myself if that is the case (I did not preorder and the cell store I deal with told me January is when she knows it will be in stock with her). I know every app is different but Accordance staff said it was very easy to make the change to support the new screen size. Now depending on what tools are used in programming and how things are done it may not be so simple on the FL apps... that said if anyone knows how long it took to support the new iPhone 6plus it might give you a time frame on when support for the X may appear. I do hope that ACC's android beta doesn't slow down the update for iOS's next update but for myself there is not a rush as i am using an iPhone 6.

That’s great thanks for the heads up Daniel, I was fairly confident that it was something sooner than later and glad to have my hunch confirmed. Now just waiting till I get my X. Between now and January as I am not in a really big hurry.

Logos new beta looks great on the iPhone X, thanks for the upgrade, it really works well.

Is the new iPhone X beta available to the public to try? If so, where/how to you install? Thanks.

I know that you have to get approved and then download the test flight app once approved. I do not remember who you hav to contact to get on the beta program but a post in the mobile beta should get you to the correct people to add you in.

Looks great! Thank you Daniel and Logos Dev Team for keeping the app always up to date with the “always changing and upgrading” iOS devices all these years! God bless your ministry. You have certainly blessed mine.
