Layouts and other differences on iPad
New to software and prefer to use on iPad. So I've noticed (or maybe just can't find) difference between iPad and videos using PC/Mac. Does iPad have custom layout feature and/or all functions? Is there a list of differences between iPad and PC/Mac and where to find?

I don't know of a list of differences, but understand the desktop program and mobile apps are completely different. It is like comparing the difference between a vegetable and a fruit.
There is not a custom layout tool on the mobile app. However you can use the split screen feature to open two resources at the same time. There is a next generation mobile app in beta right now that will expand this capability, along with other expanded and new features.

Hi Lance!
The mobile apps are considered “reader apps,” although there are some additional features added. There is a major revision underway, but they will still be “readers.” Custom layouts are not available. Is there any other particular features you would like to know about? If you need a more “desktop like” feel, you should try the web app.

As mentioned above Lance. For a fuller 'desktop' experience on the iPad you need to go to www.app.logos.com
Don't forget that you can make this look like an app by pining the page to your home screen.
1. Open the webpage and sign in.
2. Click on the share icon on the top bar.
3. In the lower row of options scroll through till you see 'Add to Home Screen' then select that.

Thanks, so mobile is basically for taking with you and reading and maybe some small lookups? Does the web app have same functions as desktop?

I don't understand your question, but to clarify what Mike said: on iOS you can take ANY webpage and kind of "turn it into an app" (or better, create an icon link to that specific page) by following his instructions.

No, but it is moving in that direction. The web app has much more functionality than the mobile app.
