I fully understand that the pricing model is based upon whole church integration and collaboration. I am a Sunday School teacher (Pastor in transition) who has a significant Logos library and use it for all my lesson preparation. It is VERY unlikely that the media team in our mega church will change platforms for presentations. However there are features in Proclaim that are unavailable in PowerPoint for the teacher/preacher. (e.g. showing videos stored on the soundfaith site) However $16 per month is too expensive for one teacher in one classroom of a 12-25 people.
I understand the analogy of "using an exotic car to run to the store for a gallon of milk" and I realize that the economics of catering to my type of user are not profitable for the Proclaim channel. However, when one considers the thousands that I have put into the Faithlife brand - concessions make a little more sense.
Has it been considered to develop a "Proclaim the Word" single-user package that doesn't focus on all the loops and fades and CCLI integration that are important to the performing arts, but allows the teaching pastor to integrate with Logos? Something that I could connect to the web at home, build my presentation, save to my local computer and then plug my laptop into a TV in a classroom and go.
