Some time ago I made a PBB Bible in Tok Pisin (a.k.a. "Pidgin," the creole of Papua New Guinea). It works quite nicely. However, it turns out that my source files had mistakes, and also, there were some other features that were missing (e.g. paragraphing, headings, cross-references). I have recently found an updated text with all of those features (freely available and shareable online, and I have secured permission to share in Logos as well), so I'd like to re-work that into a Logos Personal Book. There are also other languages of the South Pacific with Bible translations readily available that could be turned into Logos Personal Books.
I don't have any programming knowledge myself. When I initially made my PBB Bible, I used Word and Excel, a bit of trial and error (OK... a lot!), and a lot of find and replace with wildcards. I could go through that whole process again (and probably more quickly this time), but I'd like to know if anyone already has a way to automate the process. But I suppose that would depend a whole lot on the format of the source file. If the Tok Pisin Bible can be converted, then, I imagine, with minimal extra effort, all those other South Pacific Bibles (in the same XML format) could also be converted.
Below is a selection of the first few verses of the Bible as I received it in XML:
