I am referring to adding a note to, lets say John 3:16-20 via the right click.
In L3 I could highlight the range, right click, Add a Note, chose a note file > add a Note to John 3:16-20 and the note will be created and visible in all parallel bibles.
In L4 I select the range, right click, chose Reference John 3:16-20, click Add a note to ... and the note is created as a "selection" note, meaning it is not visible in other parallel Bibles.
I can make it visible in other Bibles if I dont highlight anything, just have a cursor on a single verse somewhere and follow the steps.
Is this by design or just a bug? I think the latter, because if not, why add a necessary step of choosing Reference or Selection?
As it is implemented now, it is a LOT harder to use than L3. User has to be very precise in clicking on the verse, and if a selection is made (by highlighting a part of the verse), it does not matter if the user chooses Reference for the note type - it won't be visible across parallel resources.
To summarize, bring back the L3 functionality!
ok, I'll get off my soap box. What I would like to be able to do is to highlight a range of verses, and a note to the range AND have it visible in parallel bibles.
Can we have a status update on when this bug will be fixed?
