Logos 4 Not Responding

Not sure why this happened, came back to my computer and found the screen as in the attached screenshot. Have attached the logs in the zip as well. This was on the a second Notebook running Vista Home Premium, SP2 with an Intel T2390 1.86Ghz with 2 GB RAM ATI Mobility Radeon 3400 Graphics and not my primary machine below.

Hi Graham, thanks for the logs, it seems it threw an out of memory exception, how much free hard disk space do you have?

Ok thanks, we are looking into this. Are you able to continue using with the program?

    Hi George

Yes I'm still running, I'm about to go out but will leave Logos 4 running to see if it happens again while the system is idle.

Ok thanks Graham, this is good information. Sorry it crashes on you like that! Looking at the logs it seems like about an hour goes by before this happens, can you confirm my guess? Also, is your computer going into hibernation or standby?

Program froze, then crashed. Logs attached.

I'm suspecting it may be due to the fact that indexing has not yet completed....

Hi can you please post reproduction steps? Thanks for the logs.

Initial crash caused while trying to run a search, and it was in the process of indexing.

Now that it has finished indexing, I have not had a problem.

I just had the same experience -- twice.  I was making a note file by adding notes to my bible and copying my notes from v. 3.0 then editing them for font and spacing.  When I added a carriage return to separate paragraphs I got a message that Logos 4 had stopped responding and giving two options which both ended with closing the program.  I am using an HP dv7-1285dx (Core 2 duo P8600 @ 2.4 Ghz) with 6 Gb of RAM, 500 Gb HD with 318 Gb free) running Vista Home Premium 64 bit.  Log attached.

Hi thanks for the logs. If you can repro, and if you feel like you know exactly when it will crash, a screenshot of the notes and text would be nice, thanks.

For whatever good it will do, I am attaching a screenshot.  The point where I was attempting to insert a carriage return is at the line beginning "Today we tend to think ..." toward the bottom of the notes page.  I decided to not attach the zip file since it's actually 1k larger than the file itself.image

Ok thanks, to save size on the logs, you can zip them up and they will reduce in size drastically, the first set of logs you posted don't really show any signs of crashing, sometimes it's the case that the program closes before it gets a chance to write to the logs.  Do you think you can save that note in a regular text document and post a copy here?
