BUG in beta 10 and 11

A button created from the Rebuild Index command does a Create Index when clicked from the toolbar. This has happened since about beta 8 or so (when I first reported it).
I know this bug is hard to find, is there something I can do to help isolate it? It does it on two computers. Is there something I can delete, rebuild, a log I can pass on, etc.?

Thanks George, I wasn't sure you guys had seen it with all the activity. I'll just watch this thread in case any more info is needed.

I have just tried to drag the Rebuild Index command into the shortcuts bar in Beta 11 and I mouseover and get the Rebuild Index command. Can you try removing your shortcut and creating a new one and confirming whether or not the issue exists?
Edit: I don't think I understand what you mean by "create index" - there is no such command. However going through my logs I noticed this:
010-02-18 15:49:31.8569 11 Info LibraryIndex Doing a full re-index because the existing index uses an old format.
This sounds like it is causing what you describe but I'm not sure. My Merge Index command though comes up as Rebuild index in my log....
2010-02-18 16:09:48.3996 11 Info LibraryIndex Forcing reindexing (of type RebuildIndex).
Maybe this is where the bug is hiding.

Sorry for the confusion George in terminology, here is what I just did with Beta 11:
Ran Logos 4 - deleted my "Rebuild Index" button from the toolbar
Typed Rebuild Index in the Command box, and when it came up in the drop down below the command box, dragged it and dropped the resultant button on my toolbar.
I hovered over it and verified it says Rebuild Index.
I clicked it and quickly went to expose my system tray (I have it default hidden), the Logos icon pops on and goes away very quickly.
Attached is my Index log, you can see teh whole thing elapses in a second or so. Others have told me the log showed it did a Merge Index not a Rebuild Index, and the reason it ends so fast is because there is nothing to merge (which there is not - I do not currently have any Supplemental Index files)

I think you have identified the root cause of this bug - I will update you once the case gets attention.

This is fixed and the release notes for beta 12 has been updated. I couldn't repro this so feel free to let me know whether you can confirm this fix.
