Prayer List Requests

I tried to search the forums to see if these features are already available, but I don't think they are. If I am wrong please correct me.
I would like to pray for different 'tags' on different days. EX: wife: everyday, gov't: monday's, inlaws: leap year day. Is there a way to make that available?
Also, I don't necessarily know when I will stop praying for something. Generally I tend to keep prayer requests until I hear of an answer or I will ask the person if it is still a need. So I would like to see a feature that highlights (or otherwise prompts) a prayer for me to check on to see if there is an answer, or if the prayer is no longer coveted.
Thats all for now. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy Logos 4.

As long as this is passive and I only have to take action when I no longer want the item, I am good with this.

Robert, I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. When I set up a prayer item, I determine the frequency of prayer. Daily, Day of the week, weekly, etc. I am not sure about February 29th for you inlaws. [;)]

Right now I determine the frequency of each prayer for each prayer. I would like to set the tag and then have the prayer frequency set according to the tag.

Currently you are able to schedule frequencies for each individual prayer request (not for each 'type' of prayer request).
When you click on edit and then put in an answer for a particular prayer request in the answer field, it will cease showing (I do not like this behavior, as answers do not in every case mean that the prayer should cease) the prayer request.

OK, not commenting on whether Logos should do this or not. There is a work around which may already have occurred to you, in which case feel free to ignore this post.
Since multiple lists can be shown, create lists based on frequency, then assign the requests to the lists as needed. It isn't what you are asking for, but it is a method to accomplish it. Fact is, I think I will convert my lists to this methodology.

Then I would like to have that changed as well, please.

I always assumed that once a prayer was answered, that particular need had ended. If further prayer was needed, I just created a new prayer item, or changed the existing one. To me, that makes more sense than allowing prayers marked "Answered" to linger.

Your in-laws must be more saintly than mine. [;)]

Interesting suggestion, but I like to mix mine. Pray for a different grandchild each day (but I have to double up most days), a different level of government each day, etc. Now, if I can just discipline myself to faithfully follow the plan, any plan.
EDIT: I read what I wrote, and decided I need to clarify that last line. I do pray. I just have difficulty sticking to a good plan.

Jacob,
When you want to continue praying for something, but want to record a preliminary answer, would it work to have it in the Notes field instead?

There is a Notes field in the prayer already, to the left of the Answer field.

It should be able to be in the answer section because it is an answer. If the prayer removes itself from the list when there is an answer in the answer field that seems counter productive. When there is an answer to prayer (yes, no, or otherwise) we should still be giving God praise during our prayer time.

That is exactly what I currently do. So if you leave it as is, it is still functional for me.
However, I would find it far more intuitive and helpful to be able to record the details of the request in the Notes field and then periodic updates on answers under the answers field. And then have there be a checkbox or button to mark as complete so that it knows only then to stop appearing.

Good suggestion; I'll submit it. Thanks.
