The Biblical Illustrator
These two collections are a little antique (1900 +), but the illustrations are timeless. The reviews are favorable and the price is right. WS has 3 of the NT volumes on sale for $10 ea., which makes these a good buy. I would purchase Acts from WS because it's not included in the Logos collection. $100.00 and a lot of patience is all that's required.

Wrong! What you are seeing on the WS website is an entirely different work from the quarterly journal known as the Biblical Illustrator.
It has nothing to do with the biblical illustrator you have linked to in logos but I can understand why you thought it has.

I agree with Ted. While WS does have The Biblical Illustrator ("commentary ") that includes Acts which is TOO pricey in Logos; the one you are mentioning is called The Biblical Illustrator Treasury and it's different because it's a quarterly journal. Both are good resources.

I got the entire OT and NT set for $29 bucks from WS and the format is better than what Logos currently has (too clutterry). You can also get it for free from e-sword which has a great format similar to WS.
