Is there a shortcut to "copy" the information given in a "tooltip"?
There is no shortcut of which I'm aware. But, I can select the reference and copy and paste, can also jump to reference and copy and paste. More information on exactly what it is you are trying to accomplish would be helpful.
Is there a way to "freeze" the tooltip information on the page? When the cursor is moved off the hotspot the "tooltip" information disappears also.
Yes! Instead of floating the mouse pointer over the hyperlink, CLICK on it instead. The tooltip is "frozen" on your screen and from there you can copy the info to clipboard, or you can click on further hyperlinks within the tooltip itself. Very handy.

I should illustrate what I am after.
When in a commentary there may appear a footnote. The footnote may contain more information, or a resource reference. When I try to copy that resource reference (often to a non-Logos book, etc) it disappears, and I have to write that information by hand on a paper til I can then place it into my Word document, etc.
Thanks for your help.
Thank you .... so simple! Just completely overlooked that possibility!
Hi Peter,
Could you clarify how to do this? When I click on the tooltip box, nothing happens. Furthermore, the tooltip box changes as I move my mouse around.
Thank you,
Chao
Hi Chao,
Before you can click on the tooltip itself, you must first CLICK on the hyperlink (number or letter or text). You cannot just move your mouse on top of the hyperlink; you have to CLICK on it. Then it should stay there even if you move your mouse away.
Does that help?
Thank you for the reply!
I understand what you're speaking of. I was a bit vague in my post earlier. I'm interested in capturing the tool tip box that appears in the bottom left of the screen when mousing over Greek/Hebrew words. It's basically the box where the words are parsed. Is there any way to copy this information - or change the location of that box?
Thanks,
Use the Information tool.
Click on the word in the resource and look under Word Info. Right click the header to Copy.
