Sorry to hear you are having problems
Logos 4 is very old and no longer supported.
As a first step I would recommend upgrading to the free version of Logos 7 - available at https://www.logos.com/product/136022/basic - and see if that helps.
This assumes your operating system will support this version.

Does clicking "Don't Reopen" allow Logos 4 to be opened ?
From screen shot, appears Mac being used. What version of macOS or OS X ?

just doesn't open and I get another window that asks if I want to report the failure.
But since the logos 4 is "no longer supported" it can fail and the makers are no longer responsible for it. Thus planned obsolescence and I would have to pay another $300 dollars
Huh? The Logos software is free, and you can jump ahead from 4.x to 7.11 for exactly $0.00 - I believe the link has already been shared by Graham in this thread.
Not exactly since I had the leaders library which is comparable ? bronze that they have now which is $600 plus.... Not the same as the "free" version now is it..? I paid $279 for it just 5 years ago [:O]

With Logos upgrades, you keep the books and functionality you paid for - you don't lose anything from your Leader's library, you only add updated free functionality (and perhaps some free resources) from the Basic set to it.
