Personal Book - failure to compile

HI anyone can help me with this file? I am unable to compile it into my personal book. Never happened before until recently. So I went combing through each file. But each time I update the material, for some reason the file does not compile again.
thanks

Logos recently changed the PB compiler's reaction to "empty articles" = paragraphs in Word consisting only of the paragraph mark. I ran a replace all and exchanged "^p" with " ^p" (every paragraph mark with a space/blank plus the same paragraph mark, don't type the quotes into Word) everywhere in your file, then rebuild: works. This is not the most sophisticated solution to that issue (and may not look that nice everywhere), but the fastest.

From tech:
We are sorry to hear you are receiving this error when trying to compile your files. This error may be caused by any blank headers that are in the file. To resolve this error, we’ll just need to remove those headers. To do that, just open the file in Word, select the View tab and make sure to put a check in the Navigation Pane box. On the side bar that appears, select Headings and remove any of the blank headers by right-clicking on the blank space and selecting Delete. After all the blank headers are removed, go ahead and try to compile the file again.

Thanks for the work around. I've been trying to get this new wrinkle ironed out for a week with a number of redrafts to no avail. I only wish there were a hint to fix the error that accompanied the error message.

A surprise that I had 30 mins ago is a variation on this theme.
I had a compile that refused to compile which also had this as an error
[Error] Article 'A_VOLUMEPAGE1530' has no content; articles cannot be empty.
It turned out that I had an line whose sole entry was "[[@VolumePage:1,530]]" and it had been accidentally formatted with a header format. Once I had re-formatted it to Normal that solved the problem.

Thanks for your workaround. I tried this on a file I was having problems with and it worked. Thanks. Paul.

This worked perfectly for me! I was quite frustrated with a particularly stubborn PB until I found this solution. Thank you Dan!!!!!

I'm having one of these on a book with several subfiles... each begins with something like this in the file. It is ALREADY normal text. Could this as the 1st line be a problem? Do I need to move it to the last line of the prior file?

Is there a support group for those of us trying to get our PBBs working again? Thanks to the generosity of other users over the years, I have many PBBs. Immediately after moving to L8, they still worked. I'm now on a new laptop, & I don't have access. (Yes, I NOW know I should've uploaded them, but if that's a one at a time activity, I'd likely still be working on that, too.) So I'm rebuilding them. Many of the zero length headers, I've already fixed. The attached file has me stumped. Zero length error (as above), won't compile... I've used all the advice I could find & I'm still stumped.
Any suggestions? Please don't just fix it (catch me a fish), but help me understand what to do to fix it (teach me to fish). THANKS!

Bill

Yes, it is, no you don't need to move it. The article = the paragraph in word only contains the page milestone, otherwise the paragraph is empty. I simply put in a space before the paragraph marker. Now it compiles with one warning: Article 'A_PAGE22' has only 1 characters which is the space character.

Here is your problem, you have an "empty" heading at the page break between 'Freedom and Choice' and 'The Choice' sections
Change the format of the highlighted paragraph character to some other format besides Heading X.
It complained about some embedded images and some fonts, but compiled okay.

Yay! Thank you! It just compiled, along with the other 13 files that make up that resource (which were also giving me problems)... THANKS!
