Logos Phone App

Don't have to be the whole thing but would be nice to have with all the money we pay for things also would be nice to have a purchasing app too so we could access and purchase stuff through a phone app...come on you have all those techies nerds who like to program and stuff. Ka-vhing a purchasing app would be another revenue source-I swear you should pay me for this stuff or how about some free credit and don't give me 100 dollars credit.

Oh, I'm sure they've done the math on whether you want to pay the Apple cut or not. Vs minor losses forcing you to Logos.com, where cross-selling is a bigger bet. They're not turnup-truck draftees.

Yes but that's about support for the apps - not about purchasing resources. I'm a little confused - please clarify

And please note there is a store feature in the mobile app on iOS - but the resources available in it are limited. And from the couple I checked prices seem to be higher than on Logos.com

The reason they are more expensive is simply because they can charge more. Whether it is their experiment to see what people are willing to pay (pay more) which I think would be stupid. I did conflate not knowing they had Logos for Iphone. I knew they had it for Kindle but as a Kindle owner I always saw it as a way to push people to buy into a a more featured product. I just think with how far phone technology has come and where it is going-it will replace computers for the most part. If you look where phone technology has come from in the last 15 years, where do you see it going in the next 15? Same with IPAD and Kindle type devices replacing computers. Of course, we will never totally replace computers (I think in the work place) but in the home we will. Companies like Logos am pretty sure are working to position themselves Or at least should be thinking about, planning) to position their systems to these new technologies. I don't see how they could not. Just when it comes to technology business-you really have to be forward thinking. Sorry to go into all this but I don't see why they don't just start moving towards the inedible. What I think would be neat is Kindle started their own device delivery system-their hardware. I have been dissatisfied with how it has worked and even though at times it is more expensive-I will look for a product on Logos before going to Kindle for the fact Logos is more reliable. What I think would be neat-what about Logos coming out with their own bible study and book delivery device. Now that would be really awesome! Can I get any credit if they read this and go in that direction? Maybe it is just my fantasy.

Not a good explanation, the reason I conflated was I just thought the other person was just a bit insulting over a simple suggestion. I am sure there has been a lot of suggestions that Logos have thought of but discarded but sometimes when the customers want something and enough customers speak out-then maybe they will give what the customers want-why else would they have a suggestions page.

Absolutely - and Faithlife do take notice of suggestions. Not all of them can be implemented for a range of reasons though!

It is good you have found that they have an app running on iOS - they also have Android. I use them extensively and find them very useful but they are not currently intended to be a replacement for desktop functionality. There is a new version being worked on and there are plans to enhance particular areas of functionality in 2018 but I don't believe the plan is to go for desktop replacement.

And while they do have a limited Store capability in the iOS apps the best place to purchase resources is on the Logos.com website. Most - but not all - resources shown there are mobile enabled but it's worth checking if you particularly want something to work on mobile. See example below
