Notes Shortcut
On the old iOS version, if I wanted to make a note on a single verse, all I had to do was swipe up on the verse. Now, it seems I have to tap the screen to bring up the header bar, tap on the three dot menu button, then tap "Make A Note". By the time I have found that menu item, I've forgotten what note I was going to make. Is there a way for me to re-activate the swipe up feature?
I'm using Logos on an iPhone X with iOS 11.2.1

Hi Graham,
Thanks for the response. I'm aware of that menu for selected words, but more often than not, my preference is to attach the note to an entire verse. The reason for this is that I like to have access to the note on all versions of the scripture. For instance, if I make a note while reading the ESV one day, I like being able to see the note while reading the NLT at a later date.
This brings me to another question. How do I quickly switch to a different version of the same scripture? I used to be able to tap the name of the Bible at the top of the header and I would get the list of available Bibles. Once I clicked my selection, it would present the same chapter and verse in the new version. Now I have to click the Library button at the bottom, which ultimately opens the other version in a new tab with a different chapter and verse (the last verse viewed in that version). This all seems much slower than the old way. Is there a quicker way that I'm not seeing?

If you tap the three vertical dots at the top right of the resource you get a dropdown menu - selecting the top option "Change resource" takes you to your Library allowing you to substitute any resource - not just BIbles. If you choose a Bible it opens to the same passage you were previously reading

So my swipe up menu is gone? Any way to get it back? That was sucha quick way to get into notes and was my primary way of interacting with the app. is there an option to turn that menu back on somewhere?

Thanks for the tip. That's helpful.

I'm with Shane. The previous shortcuts were brilliant. I could add notes and navigate between versions so quickly. Extra steps are particularly cumbersome when you're listening to a sermon and trying to keep up as you add notes. Is there a reason these shortcuts were removed?

Sorry but I’m not aware of any mechanism to turn it back on

Someone from the Faithlife team would need to comment on why they were removed.
My guess - about the swipeup menu - is that it only worked when in non-scrolling view (and I don’t know what proportion of users use that - whereas the three vertical dots option works in both reading views so more generally available.

Well, after my third Sunday morning of making sermon notes using the new Logos iOS app, I am desperate to get the old controls back.
Especially the swipe up to create a note. I have always eschewed the scrolling option for the very reason that it enabled this option. The current methods are painfully slow and finicky.
How do I contact the FaithLife team to make my concerns known?
