Verbum app: Bible in a year plan, does it include the deuterocanonicals

I can't seem to find the answer to this question. I want to use verbum for my new years resolution to read the Bible in its entirety this coming year but want to ensure it includes the deuterocanonicals... As such, will the Bible in a year plans included in the verbum app make use of these books? Or will it be the traditional protestant 66 book canon?

I got thinking about this when considering preordering the orthodox study Bible... Would the Bible in a year plans for the orthodox include the full deuterocanonicals? Wouldn't the plans need to be tweaked? It would be more readings than other logos users.

Sorry, I don’t know. Are you using the Verbum desktop app? If so, dig into the readings and you should be able to determine the answer

I’ve just set up the “read the Bible in a year plan” in the Verbum app using the NRSV and the deuterocanonical books are included

And yes the Reading Plans are adjusted as the screenshot below demonstrates

What about if you chose one of the plans that give you a mix of readings every day (some OT, not, wisdom lit, etc). Would they include the deuterocanonicals?  That plan you posted looks like a Gen to rev style one. Which I'm trying to avoid due to getting bogged down in certain OT parts

The plan i used was the standard “read the bible” in a year plan available in the apps.

It simply splits up the chosen version - and i went with NRSV as it includes deuterocanonicals - and so it worked as shown above.

If you select any other of the predefined plans they will be specifically set up - including specific passages - and i doubt if they will use the deuterocanonicals. If you want to use them - and to select which parts of the OT you want - I think you will need to develop / create your own custome plan, which you would need to do on the desktop

Played around a bit with it on the laptop (was only using mobile app before) and you can make a playlist that has ot nt and wisdom lit every day that uses the deuterocanonicals
