Did the recent iPhone app update disable text-to-speech?

Hello,

I haven't changed anything on my phone's settings, but text to speech isn't working (for me) since the recent iPhone app update. I used to be able to swipe down with 2 fingers, and it would read the screen, then turn the page on its own and keep reading. Now, it just reads for maybe half a page then quits. When I swipe down a second time, it will read for maybe 1-2 seconds then quit.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

which mode are you using (paged/scroll)? Does changing this change your experience?

‘Which’ recent update? I have the one before the current.

The 2-finger speech works ok for both scrolling and paging; both automatically refresh the page. I let it run for a while, to see if it would stop. It kept going. I notice the talking pages are larger than the visible pages, however.

I’m on the Bible version 6.0.3

I haven’t updated to latest; just in case.

I use this feature quite often with the latest iOS app, on both iPhone and iPad. Both are working fine for me.

Thanks for everyone's replies... I'll blame it on my iphone 6 and batterygate :)
