Hi, what topic bible do you like the most and why?
Thanks
Ole
what topic bible do you like the most and why?
The MacArthur Topical Bible. Is there another? Joking a little, but this is a comprehensive topical resource by a well-respected author that presents a wide range of topics in an easy to follow format.
thanks, have bookmarked it, God bless
Torrey’s "New Topical Textbook", comes with every base package, I believe. I also show the following from my library:
But I normally use the built in features of Logos:
The Thematic Bible is one of, if not the best, yet overlooked in my opinion. Take a look at the description and screenshots so you get an idea of why I think it’s a great resource. The others that other users have posted would be just a supplement to this one. Here’s the link:

thanks to you all
I also like the Macarthur one but if I remember correctly it is tagged as a monograph... I wish they would fix that
Martin Manser's Dictionary of Bible Themes is head and shoulders above the others, in my opinion. It's so good, Faithlife use it to create the Thematic Outlines section of the Sermon Starter Guide. Plus, it's in all the base packages, so you should already have it.
To slightly reframe this discussion, the books being mentioned all show up in the library as type:bible-concordance. Additional resources of that type that I don't think have been mentioned yet are:
Surely there are others, though.
This is the collection rule I came with earlier, though there are others here that could probably do better:
Topical Indexes:
(title:topical OR type:"bible concordance" OR subject:"bible--indexes" OR tag:"topical") -series:"Pulpit Outlines Series" -title:"New American Standard Hebrew-Aramaic and Greek Dictionaries"
It picked up two that look like false-positives, NTSK and another, but they do have subject indexes in the back so I left it. There might be others the rule doesn't pick up?
I couldn’t agree more! I can’t believe I missed this one! Probably because in my mind I was thinking “dictionary” and not “topical Bible,” but yes definitely an outstanding resource. 👍😁👌
Martin Manser's Dictionary of Bible Themes is head and shoulders above the others, in my opinion.
Themes collection:
(Subj:Bible AND (Subj:("cross reference",indexes,"Theology-Dictionaries") OR Title:(Lexham,Themes)) -Subj:(Comment,Masorah) -Title:(Abridged,Edition) -Type:(Bible,Manual,Media,Notes)
Topical collection:
(Subject:(Bible--Index,illustration,Quotation), Title:(Barbed,Quotable,Topical),MyTag:Topical) ANDNOT Title:Greek

You have been given many helpful suggestions. I would add one more: The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Technically, it isn't a topical Bible, but it is a very good resource. I happened to stumble across it in my library a few months back and wanted to share this so that others would find it too.
I just want to say thank you to you all for sharing your favorite topic bible
God bless
I know this is an old thread, but I have a question and this is a good thread [:)]
Is this resource the same thing as this? The Complete Topical Guide to the Bible
The authors are the same, but the publication date is different. But the description does not say anything about being an update or revision?
Also I was wondering why nobody mentioned this one:
Elwell's Topical Analysis of the Bible? The topics are arranged in a theological outline which I really like.
