Please delete the shortcut for the app from the macOS doc and try opening from the applications folder. If that works, then add the shortcut back. If not, please download and install the newest version of the application engine (see "install" link in my signature line). Please let us know how it goes.
Just an update, and I'm updating the article now, if you already see your user account in the permissions section of the information window for the Logos4 folder, click the gear icon and "Apply to enclosed items." That should force the permissions on the Logos4 folder throughout the rest of the Logos directory.
I think you have OSX 10.10. See my earlier reply about this.
