Preferred Bible - Reference lookup on iPhone
I noticed; that no matter what I have my preferred bible set to, on my desktop. When I'm reading on my iphone and tap a reference link, it is always the NKJV and not the bible I set as preferred. For instance if I have the LEB or the RSV set, then I expect the references on the iPhone to be looked up in those versions.
Anyone else see this as well??
Edit: I forgot to mention, that I'm aware that the preferred bible needs to be available on the iPhone for this to work.

My verse lookups go to my preferred Bible. Is the Bible you set as preferred available on the iPhone. If not I think it just moves down the list.

Yes the RSV and LEB are available for the iPhone, which is why I'm really curious as to why the NKJV. (I don't mind the NKJV, it is my personal preference)

Thank you to Scott A. @Logos for helping me to root cause my problem, and providing me with a solution; that fixed the issue.
Just a public thank you for all your help via email. [:D] This is just another gold star to the awesome customer service, that I have personally experienced with Logos since I became a customer 3-4 years ago.

Does the reference lookup work in offline mode? Mine doesn't. I tap on the reference and it just goes to the screen where the menu is at the bottom and the text is in the middle in a smaller window.

What was the problem?
I was running a beta version of L4 in a virtual machine in addition to my OEM shipping version on my desktop. The beta version had my priority list frozen with an old priority setting, and was not updating the changes made from my shipping L4 priority.
The server was syncing with the beta list, and obviously not updating the priority list from the desktop (shipping version). A bug fix will be put into Logos 4.0c for this; but the quick fix was to reorder the priority list in my beta install, then sync it; and from there my desktop and iPhone were synced, and now it all works as it is suppose to.

If you have your iPhone/iPhone set to airplane mode or just have no internet access at all. The reference lookup feature will not work, if you tap on a reference link in a bible you wil see not available or something to that effect.

Well, that stinks. Hope it gets fixed in future updates. That reference look-up is important and knda nullifies the value of reading anything other than the actual scripture in offline mode.

I really hope that this is an upgrade in future versions. Even though I dont' get to look up verse references, it is still nice to have the ability to read the books I own in offline mode. Offline mode makes it pretty much tantamount to the Kindle: text only, no markup, no Bible verse lookups.

I am having the same issues with this. My prioritzed bibles on my PC is the NIV (which I know is not available on the iPod) and then the ESV. If I am offline and click on a bible reference, it always goes to the 1890 Darby bible. If I am online, it goes to the NASB95. Is there any rhyme or reason to this or a way to select your preferred bible on the iPod Touch?

When online, the iPhone app uses your synced resource priorities. When offline, it'll use the first Bible it finds.
Tom, in your case it looks like there is a problem with resource priorities not syncing correctly. NASB95 was your preferred Bible at one point in time and the iPhone app is still using it. We're working on fixing this.
