When I first downloaded Alpha 13a I had no problems with closing the program. However, suddenly the program hangs every time I try to close it. It requires a Force Quit every time.8130.Archive.zip
What does your layout look like when you try to close it? Do you have a Passage Guide layout open?
It has happened primarily from the home page, which, btw, is no longer showing the columns of content it had been showing. However, since you asked the question, I opened L4, went to a resource, and tried to close the program from that screen. Unfortunately, it did not matter. It also required a Force Quit.
Are you running the Windows version as well?
Can you make sure your nlog.config is updated (see the instructions under step #1 of Joe Miller's tutorial video. FAQ link in my sig, item #6 will get you there) and repost your logs. Particularly your console messages after you force quit.
I haven't heard of anyone else having the issue, but hopefully the impending A14 will address the issue.
Tom,
Thanks. I am not running the Windows version. I think I will wait and see if A14 fixes the problem. The Force Quit problem is a bit of an annoyance, but not a show-stopper, since I am still able to access my resources and navigate from place to place. It is only when I try to quit the program that I have any troubles. Also, I am on the verge of updating to Snow Leopard for my MacBook Pro. Is there anything I should or shouldn't do with Logos to prepare for this transition? If I am still having problems with having to FQ after A14 and Snow Leopard, I will post some new logs and send them to you. Thanks for your help.

Most of the developers here run Snow Leopard and I do on my personal MacBook 13.3" at home and I have no issues. We do also run Leopard for compatibility testing, and as far as we can tell, there are no issues with upgrading.
Im having the same problem I have to force quit every time I want to shut down L4 for Mac. Can anyone help! Heres my logs
