When I'm in a reverse interlinear Bible, many Greek words are missing from the context menu. This occurs when right-clicking on a word selects two or more Greek words (usually the article and a noun). In the past, both Greek words would appear on the context menu, but now only one does, and that's usually the article, which is fairly useless.
To reproduce:
- Open an English Bible to Mark 15:21-32, Matthew 27:33–44 or Jn 19:17–24. I've tested both the 2011 NIV and ESV.
- Right-click on any occurrence of the word 'cross'.
- Notice that the definite article appears in the context menu, but not the word σταυρός.
- You can double-check on the interlinear ribbon, and the Greek word is definitely present in the text.
This is just one example. Right-clicking on most nouns will give you the same result.
