using the hymnals often leads to the sound not being heard

I am encountering a problem when using the Logos Hymnal and Logos Hymnal media resource. Many times, after two or three songs, the program seems to freeze. It appears that a song is playing after clicking on it, but no there is no sound. I close the program, but also have to use Task Manager, because another instance of the program is still open (even though Logos no longer appears on Taskbar as open).
After killing the instance still open in Task Manager, I can play songs again. The problem will come back again though, the next time I open the program to the hymnals.

While you're waiting, I had the same issue last week with doublemint Logos's. Stopped solid ... checked task mgr, and the twins. Killed one, and the other was happy. I'd assume a sub-process, but both twins had look-alike memory consumption, etc.
Anyway it's nice to hear someone listening to the hymns. Old-time singing, maybe.

That is what I have also. Twin processes, consuming similar memory. Yes, the hymns are rich in theology.

I believe I found the problem: when I open Logos, and look in the Task Manager, there are two instances of LogosCEF running. If I terminate one session of it, the hymnals play without any issues. At least that has been my experience two times in a row.

The way I've handled this problem, I put a quick access link to the Logos audio player in my Windows file explorer.
On my computer, it's at: C:\Users\Pamela\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\k4qj1dcn.oka\AudioPlayer
When Logos won't play the hymn, I open it in the audio player file.
I'll have to try the task manager solution.0
