Collections

Hey to all:

I am trying to figure out how to add a collection to an already existing passage guide. I hit the "add" button in my passage guide in the upper right corner, but it doesnt seem to let me chose and add the desired collection. Is there another way to add to the passage guide. Thanks!

After you have added the collection hover over the "collection bar" that was added to the bottom of the guide and select "settings" which will appear over to the right hand side of the bar. You will then be able to select the collection you want.

Perhaps there is something in the procedure you are following.

The correct procedure is to click on the Add button and select Collections. That will open your collection to "All Resources" by default. You will then need to hover over the bar next to the words All Resources so the word Settings appears.

Then click on the arrow next to the word Settings and select the collection you wish to search.

If this doesn't work, something is wrong.

Thanks Mark for the response. That is what I thought you were suppose to do. So when I hit the "add" and then I press "cellection" is just acts like it is rebuilding my passage guide, but doesnt open any collections box. So far the only way I have been able to successfully add another collections is to completely delete that passage guide and create an new one with the new desired collection, but I know that is not the right way to do it. I have contacted customer support on this but they were not much help on the subject. Any other suggesstions? Thanks again.

What happens if, instead of simply clicking on "collection" in the add menu, you drag "Collection" to the guide? This only works for me if I do not already have a collection added. So If it is the first collection I am adding to the guide, I can drag "collection" to a location on the guide. If it is the second it won't let me do it.

Let's be sure what you want isn't happening.

The new 'collection' will appear at the very bottom of your passage guide. By default the collection it will work on is 'All Resources'. Do you NOT have such a collection appearing at the bottom of your passage guide?
