Is there a way to define Resource Collections in iOS for the text comparison feature?

First, you cannot define collections within iOS. It must be done on desktop. Secondly, I am unsure if you can create a collection of Bibles to use on mobile (for the explicit purpose of using text comparison)... I just tried on my iPad and I see that indeed, collections are available. However, none of mine are of Bibles. I did find it odd that I could choose my "study bibles" collection, which doesn't help in this situation.

That's odd. I have defined a number of collections on desktop. Only three of those show up on mobile: "English Bibles," "Greek Bibles," and "Hebrew Bibles." I'm not sure if they're showing up because I defined them, or because Logos just includes them by default. I'm trying to help out my brother, who exclusively uses the mobile app. Only "Top Bibles" shows up in his "Resource Collections." It would be nice if there were some way to create a collection on desktop, and have that update to mobile, but if there is, I don't know what I'm missing. It seems random.

It seems to me that collections, syncing with mobile, has always been "hit or miss."

So YOU created those three collections? Do they appear to work? If you have helped him recreate those collections, you may need to kill the app to force a sync.

Yes. I created them (see below). The only one that didn't work this morning was the "Greek Bibles" collection. The others worked.

you may need to kill the app to force a sync.

How do I do this? Is this merely hitting the home button twice and then swiping the app up (because I've already done that). Or does it involve something else?

Try recreating Greek collection by manually adding your favorite Greek Bibles. Bet that works. As for killing the app, yes, you have it right. Sometimes closing the app will trigger a sync. Sometimes killing the app is necessary... and sometimes a fresh install is required. That is a last resort.
