Saving new default search result layout

Every time I search a Bible passage I must rearrange the result windows to my preferred layout. Note: this is different than pulling up a previous search result and layout. I want to set the "default" layout so any search produces the same layout.

Here is a sample for Luke 9:23. Now imagine doing a search for John 3:16... I want the same default layout without having to go through the process of manually dragging and deleting unwanted windows.

OK... I tried to place an image here but apparently unless I can host it on a web site I can't add it :(

The layout I typically use had three columns... left: Passage Guide to top, Info window bottom 1/4;  Middle Column: Commentaries; Right Column: Open Bibles with Greek/Hebrew

It just seems insane after owning this program since version 3.0 that I still can't do this by default every time I search. It would not surprise me to learn I can... but just don't know how.

It appears you want to save this as a Layout. Don’t forget that after you save it as a named layout, you can drag it to your tool bar for quick access.

Is that what you’re looking for?

Yeah... unfortunately this does not do what I'm looking for... If I saved the Layout while searching Luke 9:23... and now I want the same four windows but with John 3:16 info in them... I get Luke again. I want to do a search from the Home screen (upper left) and get Logos to return the results with the window layout I want as opposed to its default.

I stand corrected! (actually I'm sitting... but you get the idea.) If I replace the Passage Layout with a custom layout then things go the way I want... Thank you sir!

My apologies, yes, you would need to type into the passage guide your new search and hit the enter key each time you open the layout. I'm afraid this is the only way to open your desired default layout each time.
