Updated Atlas Tool - towns shown seem to be specific to the map

In 7.14 beta 1 on Windows 10:

When using the new Atlas Tool it seems as though towns / cities are only shown if relevant to the map - see example below

Note - this isn't a "zoom level" issue - other towns / villages don't appear even if you zoom in.

I seem to remember the old Atlas working differently allowing other places to appear making it easier to get a "context". But I could be wrong!

Is this how it is supposed to work?

And, if so, how would we - for example - get an overview map of the biblical world at the time of Jesus?

That's how it's supposed to be. For the overview maps, filter the map list for "Biblical world". They're at the top of each section.

Incidentally, I've just checked the old version of the Atlas Tool and it did make other details available, not related to the specific map, as you zoomed in.

I had made a feature request: option to overlay multiple maps. That may meet the need for context, illustrating multiple events etc.
