In a thread named Too Many Books

One poster mentioned that building collections took time on start up.

My thought was to save the rules in a document and just build rarely used collections as needed. That works for dynamic collections [[ones that don’t have Plus and Minus resources]]

But fails for collections with many Plus and Minus items.

One way of building collections is a rule that states: mytag:CH, etc.

How do we mark all items in a collection with a MyTag?

Then we can rebuild the collection with the rule mytag:X126  [[please pick a better name]]

That's easy. You would filter the library not through the search field, but by showing only a subset, namely the collection. Then you select all resources shown and apply the myTag to the selected resources.
