Dataset Updates: March 5, 2018
The following datasets are scheduled to be released today, March 5, 2018:
Reverse Interlinears — each of these were updated to incorporate updated/corrected New Testament data
- Clementine Vulgate
- Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
- Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
- New Living Translation (NLT)
- AV 1873
- La Biblia de las Americas (LBLA95)
- New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
Datasets
- Biblical Theology Cross-References — More volumes from New Studies in Biblical Theology series supported
- Systematic Theology Cross-References (Spanish) — Updated to account for resource updates
- Phrase Concordance — Typos and other small updates
- Confessional Documents Cross-References — Updated to account for resource updates
If for some reason these updates are not made available today (Monday, March 5) I will update this thread.

Several reverse interlinears were also updated with the February 20 release; I believe this addresses all that needed to be updated due to updates in the underlying NT data apart from perhaps some other foriegn language reverse interlinears (e.g. German, Chinese, French).

That is correct; I was only reporting that these datasets/reverse interlinears are scheduled to be updated today.
I believe application (7.14 beta 2) and resources are now in the process of being published. So give it a little more time (14:00 PST?), and try again. "Update now" is for application updates; "Update resources" (IIRC) is for resource/dataset updates.

No, but that's ok. [:)] Both commands update application and resources (including dataset). The difference between the two commands is that "update resources" is a more thorough check. In layman terms, "update resources" asks the servers for every resource "are you sure? Are you sure? are you sure?" [:)]

Just for fun I ran the same search as in the training video. Many of the resources listed in the video did not show up for me in the same categories (and I own all the ones shown in the video as well as the confessional collection) did Logos recategorize them since the video was made for Logos 6?
In the example for Phil 2:6-7 the book "The Athanasian Creed" was listed under the subject category "Christology" then "Ecumenical".
In my library using subject then "Chkristology" I don't even show Ecumenical.
Please Help!

Hi Bobby.
On the top right of the Guide section, there is an option that affects your view. It sounds like you've got it toggled. You can have the top level be "Subject" (e.g. "Christology") or "Resource" (e.g. "Ecumenical")

I did what you said, but if you compare the video here

it appears that most of the categories listed under Christology per the video seem to have been moved to "Theology Proper".
In the video the book "The Athanasian Creed" in the section Christ's Two Natures is under Christology, but now is under Theology Proper. It seems to me that the Christology section is much smaller than it should be.
By the way I read the documentation and noted it was last updated in October 2015, were you planning to update the list of new books that have been added to the database?

I don't believe any books have been added, just updated.

I'll look into this. The classification is automated, but some of the underlying training data for the automation may have changed (or a few other possible areas).
