How to see which books are read

As my library grows, it gets harder to find some of the books I might want to read. I was wondering if there was any way in Logos to:

a) see which books I've read (even a percentage would be interesting)

b) see which books I've not read and might like to read

I guess not, but any ideas or related ideas I might find interesting on this topic. fsd for example is one fun command here.

Yes! There is!

Open your Library panel. On the far left, you should see a bunch of circles. If you don't, right click on "Title" or otherwise in the headings area and select "Reading Status". Those little circles will tell you how much you've read, even giving you an exact percentage if you hover your mouse over them. Plus, if you click on the top of the Reading Status column, you can sort by Reading Status. That will give you three collections--books that you have never read, books that you have read some part of (even if only a very small bit of it), and books that you have read all of. Occasionally a book that you think you've read all of will show up under "Reading" rather than "Finished", but with a very high % read, but other than that, I find that it works quite well.

I also use the favorites to store the books I may like to read. It is possible to set up folders in the favorites function. I have one for read , one for "to read" and a few others to structure my reading on particular topics. If you drop the book out of the library into the favorites section you store the unopened book. If you drag the book tab from the reading pain, the last location you were at is stored and shared to your other devices :-)

I have no circles to the very left. Clicking on any heading does not bring the circles up. Nothing I click on eventuates ''Reading Status.''

Any thoughts?

These circles have been notoriously wrong in the past. I don't know if it has been fixed or not. (I hope so!)

I would recommend you use tagging to identify books you've read.

Did you right-click the heading line and make sure this option is checked so that it shows up in the Library view?

These circles have been notoriously wrong in the past. I don't know if it has been fixed or not. (I hope so!)

The problem is that it doesn't mark a section of text as read unless you've spent a long enough period of time at a particular position. If you like to read by scrolling a tiny bit every time you read a line, then it's probably not going to work so well for you. If you like to read by reading an entire page and then scrolling to the next page, then it probably works pretty well (ignoring the fact that you scroll quickly past the title page and other low value sections of the resource).

I always do the same as well as tag them "BookFinished"
