I read some of the Sugar Creek Gang books when I was a kid. I wanted to purchase the set for my kids, but never got around to it. When it was in Vyrso, it was around $55. Now with the move to Faithlife ebooks it's over $100. Why has it almost doubled?

I don't have an answer for you.
But I want to say "Thank You" for bringing back memories. I may have to reread these as I often reread some of my favorite books from my childhood.
I dug deeper and found this - https://www.amazon.com/Sugar-Creek-Gang-Collection-Volumes/dp/B00I8WCH7G/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1520602831&sr=8-15&keywords=Sugar+Creek+Gang
$149 for all 36 in paperback format.
Thinking back, I may not have read this but heard a radio series of the books back in the '90s. My childhood was way farther back than that. LOL
I bought the Sugar Creek Gang series in August 2012 for $59.12.
I also bought https://ebooks.faithlife.com/products/24483/the-lost-chronicles-series for $15.81 (now $28.99) and the https://ebooks.faithlife.com/products/24497/patricia-st-john-series-includes-6-titles series for $13.83 (now 25.99).
So it looks like it's not just one set, perhaps all the Moody series have almost doubled in price...
I should have bought it then. I know that this is more than I'm willing pay. I guess I'll wait and see if it drops.
Why has it almost doubled?
eBook prices are generally set by the publisher (which is why so many books are the same price through many different vendors) although things can get complicated. Amazon often sells books at a loss, and sometimes they get "kindle only" deals from the publishers. Faithlife extends publisher deals when they are allowed to do so from the publisher.
When it was in Vyrso, it was around $55. Now with the move to Faithlife ebooks it's over $100.
This is coincidental, and has nothing to do with the migration from "Vyrso" to "Faithlife eBooks."
This is also coincidental. Book prices can (and do) fluctuate.
I guess I'll wait and see if it drops.

Thanks for the information. I'll keep an eye on eReaderIQ too.

If you are interested in seeing an adjustment in the price, your best bet is in the Vyrso forum.
Sometime within the past couple days, The Sugar Creek Gang set has finally dropped in price close to what it was before.

Would the Lost Chronicles series be good for a 10-12 year old boy? I've never heard of this set.
