if these suggestions have been made before or have been brought up elsewhere please forgive the repetition.
The
trend in software of late is to make for ease of use. This is a noble
endeavor; but for those of us that like to get under the hood, so to
speak, i find much of Logos 4 frustrating. In Logos 3 one could define
MANY parameters. So many in fact it took several different drop down
menus to access them all. In Logos 4 there is less than one page for
program settings and a little pop-up menu on the Home page. There are
many controls that i would like to have control over but chief among
them are where the index is located on my drive and where the resources
sit on my drive. Other than during installation we don't seem to have
that option. I am sure there are power users out there that have
similar, even more involved issues along this line.
