What is your opinion on this series? I have the Exodus one and I am not "wowed" Is it a mixed series? I have had it on my wish list for a while and would like it to be good, but I am not sure.

What are your opinions?

I read Edumnd Clowney's "Unfolding Mystery", I have found that these books work well with this view of the OT as God's working in history till He brings the plan to fruition in the NT. Though I hate using the OT/NT designations since there is truly only "one" revelation of Scripture- the bible is one story.

Is there a lot to digest yes- but hey if you got to read- read something worth your time.

Iain M. Duguid is always good. He has 3 volumes on Genesis. I remember finding the Elijah volume useful when I preached on Elijah.

They look like sermons on old testament characters and books.

So far I like what I see. I just purchased them  and I’m reading the one on Naaman's Slavegirl.
