Saving spot in book with Android app
When I read through a book with the mobile app, the book is never at the correct place when I come back to it. When I reopen the app, the book always opens to a page further back. How do I get it to save my spot?

I had been leaving multiple books open when I closed the app. But after reading your post, I tried closing the books before exiting the app, and than reopening them. That works! If I close the books, my place is saved when i reopen them. Thanks, JT.

You shouldn't have to do that. I am not an android user, but I have read some complaints about this recently. The book <should> stay in place. Do you have any link sets in use?

No, none of my open books were linked to each other. The other problem I noticed with this "fix" is that you cannot close all of your books (or at least I don't know how to), so you always are going to have one book open that will not have its place saved.

My problem's the opposite (on iOS).
Sometimes, I open the app to find myself 1-2 pages after where I'd last stopped. So now I make it a point to highlight my last read sentence before closing the app.
Not sure what the issue with syncing is.
EDIT: I do not have any linked resources either. Also, I do not open the resources I read on mobile on my desktop app / web app. So there's no way the last read page could be "overridden".

My experience is the same as Joshua. These are books that I am not reading on my desktop app. I have done the highlighting method as well, but it seems like there should be an easier way.

I have the same problem on my android-tablet. I use app-version 6.2.1.
@Faithlife: Please fix this.
