One of the features I miss most from Logos 3 PC is the "Copy Scriptures" tool in the system tray. I used it to make documents for sermon preparation. I always wished I could script the thing somehow, but of course I couldn't. It occurs to me that if Logos 4 Mac opened up the AppleScript interface, which I think shouldn't be too big a deal with the Cocoa framework, it might open up a lot of interesting possibilities for integrating with other apps in customer workflows.
Obviously not a high priority during the Alpha, but I thought I'd toss it out there for consideration. I would love to be able to, for example, fire off an AppleScript that would go and get the appointed pericopes (or ones I type in) from BHS, LXX, NA27, and ESV (or whatever) and format them just as I like into a document for me to work on for sermon study. I can imagine this "scriptability" being handy for all sorts of things.
I know Logos supports notes, etc... it's just not my workflow.
Pax,
John
