7 pages worth of spam! I’m surprised Accordance doesn’t get hit like this. Maybe their forum software is better.

I'm more surprised that FL + US...yeah, us...continue to get hit with this junk, as nothing gets done about it.
When is Faithlife going to realize that the spam is driving away users and potential customers from coming to the forums?
When is FL going to state its position on spam and justify its Stone Age response to this problem?

Accordance forums uses IPBoards, which is next to vBulletin as amongst the most secure of forum software solutions. But it isn't free, which is probably why FL doesn't use it (this forum uses PHPBB software which is free).
The thing which is really odd is that FL have a whole range of free forum software solutions to choose from which are far, far more secure than PHPBB. Joomla is free. As is Simple Machines. Bot are very, very good at security. And as stated, they are entirely free.
IPBoards costs around $35 for 6 months. If that's really the reason for not switching to IPBoards, that'd be unbelievably silly. I'm sure there are other reasons.

How do you know this board is based on PHPBB? As the name suggests, PHPBB works on PHP, and not on Active Server Pages (ASPX). Is it just an assumption you're presenting as fact?

Yes, it is just an assumption on my part. I am sorry if it offended you.
We chose this forum software almost a decade ago... a primary motivator was the ability to use existing Logos.com user accounts, which wasn't something we could do with all the third-party platforms. (As well as a bias towards source-available solutions for .NET, since we use that for all our web coding. We didn't want to have to integrate a new tech stack just for the forums. A lot of forum software was built on PHP in the past, but we don't really use PHP.)
As I understand it, the platform doesn't get much attention. In the short term we keep looking for ways to keep the spam out without creating too big a burden to posting. It's a continual balancing act.
In the future we plan to move to the Faithlife platform, but the forum support there isn't robust enough. Once it is, we'll have not only integrated account, but much easier image support, integration with other parts of the Faithlife system, etc.
I'm sorry for the frustration.
I'm glad that you are waiting, spam notwithstanding, until the forum support there becomes robust enough. [:)]

It's a comfort to know the problem has your attention and that you have a plan to address it. In all fairness, the response time for clearing the spam has improved at least from my perspective. I look forward to the future when the spam threat is passe.
We have deployed a simple rate-limiting feature for new posters. Established forum accounts (with a significant number of existing forum posts) are exempt from the rate limit.
If you are told that your post has been moderated, it may be because you are a new user who is posting too frequently, or it may be because your post looks "spammy" and was caught by the existing spam filter.

Mine never posted and it was about a price drop on Alexander Whyte Bible Characters for $24.99 and it used to sell for $74 and change.

Ok Bradley, you need to, please, fix my posting permit because apparently I can’t post anything that includes a link to your own website.

Excellent!
"Hot New 10pcs Makeup Brushes Ergonomic Microphone Dotted Design.."
This would be ideal for doing Karaoke while applying makeup. Ten pieces for those industrial-sized efforts.

Well, the two realms intersect more than you know. Don't these karaoke mikes look like they do double duty as lipsticks of different colors?
And doesn't this microphone-shaped makeup brush just make you want to do karaoke with it?
This gal has the right idea...
2 spams just passed through the “wall.” I hope 🤞 not many get through 🤞😁👎
And another spam post from a previous spammer.. Why isnt this user just banned?
