Blurry Text

Hello All!

I just upgraded my laptop and downloaded my Logos 7 software. All of my applications (MS Office, Chrome, etc.) have crisp and clear fonts. However, Logos appears to have a blur to it. I know this is something that I have done (or didn't do) correctly, but if anyone could offer a suggestion that would be great. Thank you for your help. -all4als

    You may need to post logs (see my signature line). Can you provide us with some specifics? Which version of the engine are you running? What version of Windows? Can you provide a screen shot?

    JT,

    Thank you for the reply. I fixed it with Microsoft's help. I guess it had something to do with a High DPI setting? Anyway, I lowered it for Logos, and it is all clear now. I should have posted that I found a solution.

    Glad that you fixed it, however, this still may be a possible bug. It may help Faithlife if you could reproduce the issue, then post the logs and a screenshot. Just curious, what resolution were you using at the time?

    My laptop monitor is 1920x1080 (125% scaling) and my HDMI TV monitor is set the same with 100% scaling. It wasn't blurry on the laptop screen, but the TV monitor.

    The first one is clear, the second one is blurry. (At least it is to my old eyes!) [:)]

    Hi all4als;

    I suffer from old eye syndrome also, and both the images look the same to me. [:)]

    You may have already tried this, but I keep my desktop resolution at it's maximum recommended, then play around with the content scaling setting on the Logos program settings to adjust the text of my resources for both clarity and readability. As you can see, I've set my content setting to 120%.

    Hello Erwin,

    I should have been more clear. The text in the tabs seems blurry to me in the second picture. I do have a habit of being pretty picky about little things that really should not bother me. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Hello Erwin,

    I should have posted with more clarity. I seem to be too general many times, after I read my posts.

    Does the tab text look any different to you on the second image? The text on the tabs look fuzzy to me. So that may be just my eyes!

    Anyway, I like your suggestion. If I move the scaling inside of the program, the text looks crisp again.

    Yes, I see the difference now. It's very slight. The 1st (top) image is just a little clearer than the 2nd (bottom).

    I'm glad that it's working a little better for you now. I've suffered from this a lot in the past 3 or 4 years. It wasn't so long ago that I could set my scaling to 80% and read all day. Now I'm praying to move Logos from the phone (what I use at church and on the go) to a 10" or 12" tablet, and the desktop monitor from a 19" to a 27" monitor. [:)]
