After waiting patiently after the Master Journal Bundle 2.1+ came out - not a lot has happened.
Where was the frequent release programme we were expecting.
Shalom
Phil any updates on . . . getting JETS back? It looks highly likely that we'll be getting JETS and the other Galaxie journals back in the near future. We're working out the final details and should have an announcement in the coming weeks. It's not finalized yet, but looks very promising. That is good news! I suppose jets won't make it into any of the 3.1 bundles though? It won't. It'll be part of another collection, but it'll have dynamic pricing enabled.

Reporting back that we have a signed contract to bring Galaxie's Theological Journal Library back to Logos in the near future. We're getting the files and working out the details, but it's underway. Be on the lookout for an up-to-date version of Galaxie's Theological Journal Library on Pre-Pub in the next several weeks. It'll have dynamic pricing enabled, so if you already own a prior version of the Theological Journal Library or any of our journal bundles that overlap, you'll pay only for the new content. This will allow you to continue to buy our journals as well as TJL if you'd like.

Stupendous News Phil! Thanks.

This is phenomenal news! Thank you, Phil, and everyone involved for your hard work to make this happen. I know many of us are thrilled!
That is indeed great news! Now go get BAR! [:D]
Phil,
Will the Galaxie material be tagged the same as Logos produced journals? Right now I have a lot of Galaxie journals that the tagging has not been redone to work with the Logos journal feature. I am hoping that all the old Galaxie journals are scheduled to be updated.
JSPL??? Among others mentioned throughout this thread! Lol! Keep at it Phil and your team!
SUPER!!!!!! Yahoo! Thanks, Phil, for the wonderful update!
Probably the best option! Glad to hear a resolution for a long enduring cycle that can finally move forward to more improvement!
This is fantastic news!

I'm very thankful for this.
I agree. This is good news. Masters and Trinity are two journals in Galaxie that aren't in the TJL bundle so I'm hoping the Galaxie bundle will add them so I can get them at a prepub discount [B]

Are there any plans to get Biblical Archaeology Review (BAR) into Logos?

BAR, not at the moment 👍😁👌
It would be nice to let Phil respond

This is an important question that I have wondered too. I would love to see all of my journals utilize fully the Logos journal feature!

Any updates on this Mr Gons?
By the way, I saw the 4.1 bundles go on Pre-Pub. Locked mine in.
thanks for pointing it out, I'm in too :-)
We're working through those details now, so it's not for certain yet. But it looks like we will produce them to our same standards, so they'll work as your other journals do. We'll make sure to spell this out on the product page when it goes up.
Thanks for the reply! Perhaps the pricing for the initial Galaxie product could reflect the cost of retagging their material. Without that I would consider it a loss for the Logos ecosystem.
Best,

I'm just curious... Do you have an ETA on these? 1 month, 3 months, etc?

Curious, any news of JBL?
Mine is stuck on Journal of Biblical Literature, vols. 100–125 (1981–2006). Any possibility to see something here?
This is welcome news, Phil. Can you give an estimate as to when the product will be ready for roll out?
How about updates here, too:
Ashland Theological Journal, vols. 1–45 (1968–2013)
5 Years is missing
Can you give an estimate as to when the product will be ready for roll out?
The team tells me end of next week seems doable, but I'd add another week or two to your expectations so we can exceed them.
ROFLThanks Phil I really really needed that laugh.
ROFL
And I learned another acronym today.
Hi Phil, is the JETS ever coming back? Kindly advise.
Will one ever see JTS?
Yes. It's in the aforementioned product from Galaxie Software.

Catholic Biblical Quarterly?

Thanks, Phil, you guys are ever hard at work!
[Y] thanks!
Any chance we can get the "new to you" feature on this page? Hard to judge how much I already own without it.
I think that's available only after it ships.
Your dynamic price should give you a sense of how much you already own. The full price is $1,000, so if your price is $250 you own around 75% of it. Now, if you want to know which titles you own and don't, that's a different question that I don't have an easy answer to.
Is there any reason why this was not included in the Master Journal group?
I almost didn't look at it, as I had assumed, since I have always ordered the Master Journal group, these journals would be included.

I see what you mean. I also overlooked The Theological Journal library as i assumed it was contained the Master Journal library.
Still i would like some clarity from Phil, If this is not the case. I have placed an order for the Theological Journal library until i hear otherwise.
Thanks
That's what I did too, just to make sure! [:)]
Yay! JETS
Will there be any updates to Masters Seminary Journal?
Masters Seminary stopped letting Galaxie Software get updates to their journal some 9 to 10 years ago. they figured that since it was free online, that would be enough. I called them to try and change there mind, but they wouldn't budge.
Maybe Faithlife can just talk to Masters and get them added in?
Maybe part of the problem is that they give it away for free. Maybe they don’t want others to charge a price for it.
So, FL, how much overlap is there in these 2?

This is a third-party product produced by Galaxie Software that we're distributing. We cannot include this content in our journal bundles unless we have our own license.

There are ~20 journals in this collection that are not in the Master Journal Bundle. I think this is the list, though some of these are no longer being updated due to no longer being published or rights issues.
You can safely pre-order both. When we ship them, we'll charge you only for the portion of the collection you don't own. So if we ship MJB 4.1 first, you'd then own a license to everything included in it. When we ship TJL 1–20, your dynamic price will be lower than what you see today, since you'll own more of it then than you do now.
We have. I'm pretty sure the blocking issue is an exclusive distribution agreement that doesn't allow them to let Galaxie or us also distribute them.
