To immediately update to the current beta enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.

I still can't rebuild my index - I'm not able to perform searches on (what seems to be) a large chunk of my library, which is the reason I was trying to rebuild it.

We are aware of this issue and we plan to fix it soon. We'll put it in the release notes when the fix ships.

This was not fixed in Beta 3 for Mac.
Is this a large problem and are a lot of beta testers affected?
Hope this will be fixed soon, but I have also a stable Windows installation.

We are working on it, but I don't know exactly when it will be fixed. We are working hard to try to get it done, but I can't promise a specific release.

This has been fixed in 7.15 Beta 4.
