iOS downloaded resources not working; Bug?
Is anyone else having issues with downloaded resources on an iPad?
1) I'm having an issue with a specific resource (Macarthur Study Bible NASB). No matter how many times I delete and reinstall I cannot pull up the resource when away from WiFi. If I have the resource open before I disconnect I can still read it but I cannot use the ToC or sync resource option to jump around. E.g. It is open in Numbers and I want to switch to another book I have to scroll and can't use ToC or verse select.2) I am unable to pull up resources that I have already downloaded but never opened before. For example, If I have downloaded a resource and used it over WiFi it will work fine when I go offline but if I have downloaded a resource but never opened it before when I go to open away from WiFi all I get is a blank screen and a resource without a cover image. What's the point of downloading it if I can't use it?
Am I alone here?

I also forgot that when I click on verses offline the little box comes up where it is supposed to show the verse in your preferred Bible and it appears blank. My default is the NASB and it is downloaded as well

You may need to perform a clean install.
Is there a special procedure for that or just delete the app and reinstall?

Just reporting that I'm having much the same problem (on an older release with an older iOS). Seems to have begun only within the last 48 hours, so I'm intrigued that Mattillo is reporting exactly the same symptoms.
That is: various navigation mechanisms (jumping; TOC; syncing) work fine when connected to wifi, but are inoperable without a connection.
Interestingly, I note that one resource (UBS5) seems to be loading only a small sample. After a few screens forward or backward, I cannot load anything more. So manual scrolling is also added to the list of non-functioning navigation.
(Because I choose to remain on an older iOS, I'm constrained which reader app I can use [5.2.3]. I don't have the luxury of reinstalling. I'll be disappointed – and a little surprised – if the resources have updated their format or operation without me doing anything.)

A possible solution?
To my surprise, with a bit more poking around, I've found that a number of favourite resources had managed to remove themselves. That is, looking at the resource info, I was offered the chance to "Download".
Their absence is rather inexplicable (although I've been having other trouble with some files in newer formats). So far – without needing to reinstall the app – I've been able to (re)download some of the offending resources. So far so good...

I'm sorry to hear that! Though I dreaded the fresh install I went ahead with it anyway. A quick test and my study Bible worked. I'll have to try other resources at a later point.
