Is there a way to search for participles functioning as adjectives?

A syntax search of the Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament or the Greek New Testament and Dataset allows you to specify all manner of different participles (adverbial, attributive, circumstantial, and so on).

Is this the correct syntax search to find participles functioning as adjectives?
The syntax search function is very complex so I'd like someone familiar with it to confirm or not.

You can do it like that, although I'm not sure that will get all the results without any false positives. You'd have to try it with some test cases. (Syntax databases aren't always tagged in exactly the way you think, as there are sometimes judgement calls to be made, or because they're structured in a different way to what you imagine.)
However, I was suggesting using the Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament or the Greek New Testament and Dataset. With those resources, you can just add a word to the syntax search, and under the "syntatic force" heading, you've got a whole bunch of different participles you can select from. It rather depends on exactly what you want whether this is more helpful that the Cascadia option you've tried already.
