As far as I can tell, there is no way on an Android tablet to close a resource if it's the last/only resource open.
E.g. If I have three resources (tabs) open and I select the tab button so I can see all three resources, each of the three tabs has a close button on the upper left which can be used to close the resource. That works fine for the first two resources closed, but... after closing two of the resources, the close button disappears from the tab for the third (last) resource. At that point, the only button displayed for that last resource is the one to put the tab in split screen mode. Likewise, if there never has been more than one resource opened, (only one tab), there is no close button for it, just the button for split screen mode.
I'm in the process of reading through a monograph and am switching daily between reading on my laptop and reading on my Android tablet. When finished reading on the tablet, the resource has to be closed in order to generate the sync process for when the monograph is opened on the laptop. But from what I have experienced so far, the only way for me to close the monograph is to have a second resource open even if I have no need for it.
Is this actually the case or am I missing something?
