Word lookup problems
i have 6.2.4 version of Logos. Using my iPhone I used to tap on a word in any of my GNT and I could tap lookup and get a definition. Now a box appears automatically looking the word up. The problem is it either keeps looking with no results or gives me the wrong word.

This sounds similar to the problem I reported in the beta forum Word lookup woes
Do you have a lexicon installed on your iOS device?

Yes I have Louw nida, tdnt, bdag, twot, etc.

If you can identify the resource that is giving incorrect results, you might try deleting and reinstalling that resource. In the other thread I deleted and reinstalled the app which fixed my problem. But that may have been a bot of overkill—something like swatting a fly with a canon.

I’ve tried that. Didn’t work. I still haven’t figured out how to get it to look up words in a specific lexicon other than the one it chooses.

I am truly sorry for that. Will see if I can get a FL rep to comment.

Since you have several installed, the app likely chooses the one with the highest priority in the desktop version—or, if you have not prioritized lexicons, I have no idea how the choice works.
You can force the choice by installing only one lexicons for each language.

So, Jack, I deleted LN and it went to BDAG but it seems to be stuck on a particular verse because it doesn’t lookup the word I’m hovering over. Even when I swipe right in the lookup box and it goes to TDNT. It is in a completely different verse. It’s like it is stuck there.

I also just figured out it does the first few words of the chapter I am in. No matter what word I choose. So something is odd.

This is beyond my meager knowledge of the Mobile App. I contacted FL, so hopefully someone from the Mobile team will respond today.

Problem solved. PTL!
my ipad worked fine. Same logos version. So I decided to delete my app on my iPhone and reinstall. Works now. Hallelujah!

Pleased that your problem is solved. Now, if only we could identify the cause of this.
