Web App Improvements: May 16, 2018
Since I haven’t given an update in a while, here’s some of the improvements we’ve rolled out to the Web App recently. It's not an exhaustive list, so if I missed anything valuable to you, feel free to mention it!
Notes
- Added find bar for searching plain text content of notes
- Added facet filtering
- Added automatic Bible reference detection to editor
- Cmd+Click (or Ctrl+Click) will now execute links in the note content
- Added drag-drop for moving a note to a notebook, reordering notes within a notebook, and dragging a note to the trash.
- Notes & facets now update when a note is edited or deleted
- Fixed bug causing edits to be lost if the panel was closed quickly
- ...and more
Atlas
- Added new map filter box with autocomplete
- Added related media collections (for maps that have them)
- Added Cmd+F (or Ctrl+F) to find place labels on the current map
- Added Cmd+Drag (or Ctrl+Drag) to show distance
- ...and more
Sermon writer
- Added "Slides" view
- Fixed crash/sync issues when "Enable editing" is turned off (eg by default on Mobile)
- Fixed display of some older Sermon Documents
- Fixed scrolling in Firefox
Resource display panel
- Fixed copy on iOS
- Fixed bugs with visual filter settings
General
- If the app encounters an error, the "Reload" button will now load a default layout instead of your last layout, to avoid getting stuck unable to open the site
- Improved touch support in Resource Display and Library Panel
- Fixed the home page not hiding when opening Library from it's context menu
- Enabled the richer Resource display features on iPads/tablets only
- Improved testing on our end -- while not exactly a feature, know we are continually working on improvements in this area!
Thanks for your continued support and feedback!

David ... I think I must be in the minority here. See below; first image is my entry; 2nd after clicking on the book icon (I assume the library). I must really not understand, or maybe this isn't the Logos web app? Maybe an early version that's not supposed to be active?

Hi Denise, is that an iOS 9 device? We support iOS 10 & 11 right now.

Oops! You’re right! The ipad’s fine; not enough to replace for Logos only.

Any way to turn this off?

Hi Robert,
There isn't a way to turn it off. Is it tagging something incorrectly for you? I'm curious why you'd want to disable it.
