Editing title slide in Sermon Document

The title on my title slide seems stuck on one line, rather than merging into two when the font size or text box size is adjusted.

This seems like such a basic function that I'm hesitant to assume that Logos can't do it, but I can't figure out why it won't cooperate either...

I include a screenshot to illustrate.

Left Click on the slide and choose "Edit"

When the edit screen opens click in the text box on the FAR LEFT (I circled it in the shot).

this will display the edit handles on the slide's text box (see far right).

You can drag any of the handles to resize the slides box and this will cause the line to split in two.

You can also (most likely the best option) edit the text in the far left box to force the line changes you desire.

    See if this helps.

Edit: I chose the second option to do my edit (the left box).

Also the slide you click on is in the sermon editor ( I had forgotten to mention this).

Hi Roy, I had already tried all of that, but with no success. I would feel fairly familiar with the sermon editor, but this has stumped me.

I wonder if it has something to do with the particular slide background I am using.

Can someone duplicate my problem using the 'creed' title slide?

IN the sermon editor delete the slide.

Then Select the text that should be on the slide.

Choose "Add Slides from Selected text"

    Edit the Slide.

At this point you should be able to break the text into multiple lines.

Add the background and you should be set.

    Edit: P.S.

I could not do this in the Title Slide area. I had to do it in the body of the sermon and just added it as my 1st slide.

Yes, maybe that is where the problem is at, though it can obviously be circumvented as you demonstrate.

I know how to do all of the above, I was just trying to do it in the Title Slide area. With the creed design, it doesn't really change the design if one uses the Header Subheader background versus the Title background. However, I don't know if this would be the case with other designs. You might lose some of the design of a Title slide if you are not able to format it properly.

Thanks though. I'll work around it easily enough.
