Tom Constable Expository Notes on the Bible outdated?
Galaxie Software has never updated their notes since 2003 and so the commentary is out of date. This commentary is a free pdf download on soniclight.com. You can go there and see the latest update of all 66 books. Can you please update this commentary

I have this also and it would be great to have the latest version. It has been very useful.

My guess is the revisions since 2003 are very slight, like an added bibliographic source or an added quotation, or small added sentence.
But still, an update would be nice. Constable is a good resource.

While I admit that the updating of resources like this are good and would be nice I am almost sure FL would charge you for full amount of the notes arguing that as a new edition you have to by the new resource. Other software has generously have freely updated the old edition to the current one free. But that said the same company has only been allowed to offer upgrade pricing on other resource sets.

I, too, would doubt that Dr. Tom has changed his mind about very much since long before 2003. I agree with others that very little has likely changed. For $37.95 Constable's study notes are far and away the best value for the money. They are actually a fairly extensive commentary on the entire Bible. They are well worth the money even if they remain frozen in 2003 in Logos. I agree it would be nice to have an update and I would likely buy it. Since the set hasn't been updated, I import the PDF's into Logos and make a personal book if I am studying extensively from one book of the Bible.

An update would be welcome! Here is what Tom Constable says about the notes on his website:
"These are working documents. I retired from teaching at DTS in June of 2011. Since then I have been giving my full attention to producing these notes, as well as preaching and teaching as I have opportunity."

Tom Constable's notes have a thousand more pages since the 2003 update. Even so, I am thinking about buying the old 2003 version if it is still the best available dispensational oriented set of study notes. Any advice is very much appreciated.

They’re available for free on the internet. I check them every now and then, but not planning on purchasing them, unless they come in a lower base package when L8 comes out. NIBSB is better IMHO.

Sorry I meant New Interpreters Study Bible (NISB) related to NIB. NIB is sold in Logos and the dictionary, but the Study Bible and the One Volume Commentary are sold in A company.
