SUGGESTION: Tag Monographs with passages under study

For sermons, the label tells us the primary passage being preached upon which allow us to identify relevant sermons without working through a list of all references to a given passage. Monographs which in the Guides are handled in the Collections section only give us a list of all references. It would be a major advance in Logos to be able to see only those that are actually studies of the passage. How big of an advantage? See Index of Bible Studies to see the dedication of users to this function.

As it is a case where it might be cost-prohibitive for Logos to go back through all their resources, I would suggest that one rely on crowd sourcing to get the data - something along the lines of the Sermon label or the Community tag.

Your first screenshot shows the subject associated with a book. We are at metadata level. You see yourself that Mt 24 only comes up for a book that is completely devoted to this chapter - a meaningful treatise on MT 24 in a book on Matthew, or the NT, or the End Times in general would not be found under that subject. You may note that subjects sometimes tend to be imprecise or even outright wrong, but since Faithlife decided to carry the subjects as reported by the publishers, asking FL for change is futile - and unlike titles, we are not allowed to change them ourselves [:(] (edition:ebook resources have no subjects at all, whereas you can at least choose the subject yourself in your PBs). So it won't help.

Your second screenshot is a search of typical heading fields. We are at content level. This is much better in identifying meaningful treatment of passages - provided the passage reference is spelled out in a heading such as a chapter title (actually rather unlikely outside of commentaries, authors tend to use pericope titles or other human-readable text) in a format that is recognized by Logos AND the heading is formatted in a Logos heading field style or in a significantly larger font than the usual text. Again this will find some things in your library, but will not find all (or even the majority) - and again this is something you can't change if you find it.

There is a reason Index of Bible Studies exists (thanks again, Richard Wilson for this great and shiny resource!) and I understand MJ to ask for a way to make such information searchable and usable - beyond the library and personal effort of one Logos user.
