Puritan Paperbacks - Banner of Truth
Does anyone know if Banner of Truth makes many books available in logos?
I would buy everyone of their puritan paperbacks series in a bundle if they would make them available. These short but very rich books would be great to setup in a reading plan.

- The Practical Works of the Rev. Richard Baxter
- The Works of Richard Sibbes
- The Complete Works of Thomas Brooks
They tend to do Puritan collections by author. In addition to Owen's complete works and Bunyan's (already available), they've got the following in pre-pub. Ordering items in pre-pub is the best way to get a great deal on them.
And two more Puritans not on your list are also in pre-pub:
They will add more as people request them.
They also have this video series which is heavily based on Thomas Vincent's work: The True Christian's Love for the Unseen Christ
They tend to do Puritan collections by author.Which, to be honest, is driving me crazy. In most cases, I don't need all the works by an author, and neither does my budget. If I want to pick up a single work for a few dollars, I'm out of luck.

I couldn't agree more. Most Puritan author's works cover a wide range of interest and application. It would be far better to offer works singly as well as in sets. For example, don't want all of Baxter's works (and I can't justify the expense either to myself or the household treasurer – my wife) but I would be happy to pay for single volumes even at a higher price than the set's unit price.
I seem to recall having a similar problem with some commentaries – NIGTC were only available in a set, now they are available singly. However, other commentaries are still available only in sets. So while I would like some of the ICC series I can't possibly afford, and neither do I need, them all in a huge and expensive set. As matters stand I am never going to buy them, but if they were available singly that would be a different matter.
As a largely expository preacher, I buy what I need, when I need it, and my print library of over over 2000 volumes has been built up that way. Surely, offering individual volumes, even some time after the whole set has been produced, would generate more sales for the publisher. Surely, for a publisher this is a no-brainer!
What about it, Bob?

Many of the puritan works are consistent with the Banner of Truth printings, down to the page number. However the Puritan paperback series is not available.
I have long (5+ years) been requesting this resource. I love having the whole works of Puritans, especially the Puritans I love most: Edwards, Owen, Bonar, & Baxter. But, I think that it would be more helpful to a broad range of buyers (and therefore also more lucrative to Logos) to offer the Puritan Paperback Series. I would jump on that in a second and be all over the internet trumpeting its potential publication if it were to hit prepub or community pricing!
Please work on this opportunity, Logos!

I agree with many of the sentiments here. While I appreciate the collections by author, the paperbacks series are short and widely recognized as each authors best writings. There is no way I would purchase Baxter's whole collection, but his book "The Reformed Pastor" is a jewel that I would love to have in logos. The paperback series would be a huge seller in my opinion. You can buy all 40 of them for $250 in print format. It is one resource I would pay retail for in logos format due to the richness of the contents, and the brevity to make all 40 books very readable.
Another solution would be when the revamped Logos 4 PBB is usable. Almost every one of the paperback books is public domain.

"The Reformed Pastor" is available on Logos. I have it. I got it through E4 years ago. I just wish that it were available on the iPad so I could read it while on the go. Is there any hope of that happening?
E4 resources are no longer available. However, Logos' Richard Baxter collection has been broken up so the individual volumes are available for purchase. The Reformed Pastor is available in volume 14:

Check the Logos web site. They have all of John Owen's works available including his commentary on Hebrews.
