To immediately update to the current stable version enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.

I get a sense that I will have to buy Logos 8 to get the fix.
In reading through the release notes, I found this: "uploading media in the Media Tool". Somehow, I have missed this feature. I did not know it exists.
What Logos 7 feature set is required for this? Do I need a certain level of Logos Cloud / Faithlife Connect? How do I use the feature?

The version bump doesn't relate to the number or significance of the bug fixes. Instead, we are on a regular 6 week release cycle. Every 6 weeks the version number is incremented, and we ship with the changes that have happened since the last release. If we have to release an unscheduled version, then we ship it as an SR.

But why increment the number if nothing new except a bug fix is released? You might as well release a new release without changing anything whatsoever. And just like Mike Tourangeau I am still having issues with my Atlas as well. It will flash an index very briefly and then go blank. No index bar, no map, nothing. I have been following Mike's thread in hopes that you would come up with a solution. I can't state enough how very disappointed I am in the fact that there still isn't a resolution to this case.

You need to create your own thread. Provide appropriate details. If I understand correctly, Mike doesn't have his own thread, but rather simply created a post in another thread.
Michael, you may have already done this, but have you tried to call the Faithlife tech support team? I have always found them to be VERY responsive and helpful. Sometimes actually talking to a person and letting them do a screen share session fixes the issue. They will let you know though if it is something they can’t fix.

I'm sorry you are still experiencing problems with the Atlas Tool. I know we do have your issue on our list. I've also brought to the team's attention again, I don't have any specific information on when they will be able to take a look at it.

I'm sorry you are having problems with the Atlas Tool. Please follow JT's insctructions and create a new thread. Please reproduce the issue and upload your logs (you can find instructions on how to get logs using the link in my signature). One reason that we need your logs is that while the app might exhibit the same behavior as Mike, that doesn't mean its the exact same cause. The logs will help us in trying to determine this.

I'm sorry that you have been having so much difficulty with the Atlas Tool. We have a fix in 7.17 that we think might have fixed your issue. If you could let us know when we ship 7.17 to stable if it is working. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
When will 7.17 release? Today or next week someday?
